GENERAL
The following terms and conditions apply to all the online orders made on the e-shop www.curiosity-lab.com. The conditions applicable to any order are the ones in place when the order is completed. Any order validated by the consumer on the e-shop www.curiosity-lab.com implies the prior agreement to the present terms and conditions, the acknowledgment of familiarity with these terms and conditions, and the renunciation to apply one's own terms and conditions of any kind on the order.
PRODUCTS
The information mentioned on each product's page is purely informative. The products available comply with the current French norms and legislation. The photographs, texts, graphic designs, informations and characteristics introducing the products are not contractually binding.
PRICES
The prices of our products are displayed in euros all taxes included (VAT and other taxes that may be applied on the order the day of its completion), unless indicated otherwise and not including the processing and shipping fees. For orders to another country than metropolitan France you are the importer of the product(s) in question. Customs duty and other local taxes or importing duty and taxes might be payable. Those duties and fees don't fall under Curiosity Lab SARL's responsibility. They will be not be paid for and are under your responsibility, for both reporting and paying the competent authorities and organisms of your country. We advise you to inform you about those topics by contacting your local authorities. All orders, wherever they are made from, are payable in euros.
The company Curiosity Lab SARL allows itself to modify its prices at anytime, however the product will be paid at the price in effect when the order is completed, subject to availability. The products remain the property of the company Curiosity Lab SARL until the payment is complete.
Careful : as soon as you physically take possession of the products ordered, you bear the risks of loss and damages of the products.

The contractual obligations are available in French and in English and will be confirmed at the latest when the order is completed. The company Curiosity Lab SARL reserves the right not to record a payment, and not to confirm an order for any reason, more specifically in cases of supply issues, or in case of difficulty to fulfill the order.
DISPONIBILITY
The offers introduced by www.curiosity-lab.com are available while stock lasts. Curiosity Lab SARL reserves the right to modify the products' arrangement, their mix, their availability period and their prices. For non-stocked products, our offers stand subject to supplier availability. In case of unavailability of a product after your order is completed on the website www.curiosity-lab.com, we will inform you by email. Your order will automatically be cancelled and no bank debit will go through. We will then offer you a new delivery period or another product. The company Curiosity Lab SARL will not be held responsible of the non-fulfillment of the contract concluded in case of stock shortage and unavilability of the product(s), of force majeure, of perturbation or total or partial strike, especially of postal services and means of transport and/or communication, of flood, and of fire.
PAYMENT METHOD
The validation of your order implies the obligation for you to pay the indicated price. The paiement is required for the order to be fulfilled and has to be done by credit card through PayPal / Stripe secured systems. The date of validation of the order is the the date of the online payment. The products remain the property of the company Curiosity Lab SARL until the payment is complete. In case of split deliveries, only the shipped products price will be debited.
WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
According to section L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, you benefit of withdrawal period of 14 days from the reception of your products onwards in order to implement your withdrawal right without having to justify of any motive nor having to pay penalties. Products returned have to be in their original condition (packaging, accessories, manual). You are responsible of this matter. Any article that will not respect those characteristics won't be reimbursed nor exchanged. In case of loss or deterioration of the returned package, the company Curiosity Lab SARL won't be able to proceed to the refund of the order and the consumer will have to fill a claim directly to the carrier. This withdrawal right apply without penalty, except for the return fees that remain to be paid by the customer.

In case of exercise of the withdrawal right, the company Curiosity Lab SARL will proceed to the reimbursement of the amounts paid within a delay of 14 days after being notified of your request and via the sale payment mean you used when ordering.
SHIPPING
The products are shipped at the shipping address indicated during the order process, within the delay indicated on the order validation page. In case of late dispatch, you will receive an e-mail to inform you about potential impacts on the shipping delay that was first given. According to legal provisions, in case of late shipping, you can cancel the order in respect to the terms and conditions defined at section L 138-2 of the French Consumer Code. If meanwhile you receive the product, we will proceed to its reimbursement and pay for its return fee in respect to the conditions of section L 138-3 of the French Consumer Code. In case of shipping by a carrier, the company Curiosity Lab SARL can't be held responsible for late delivery due solely to the unavailability of the customer after several meeting proposals.
WARRANTY
All our products benefit of the legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects, as provided by the section 1641 and following of the French Civil Code. In case of non-conformity of a sold product, it may be returned, exchanged or reimbursed. All claims, exchanges or refund requests have to be done by e-mail / post within 7 days after the delivery date. The products have to be returned to us in the state you received them in and with all their elements (accessories, packaging, manual...). We will reimburse you the shipping fees according to rate charged and refund you the return fees upon presentation of receipts. The terms and conditions of this article don't stop you from enjoying of your withdrawal right.
LIABILITY
The available product fit current French legislation. The company Curiosity Lab SARL shouldn't be held liable in case of non-compliance of a product with the legislation of the country it is shipped to. You are responsible for checking with the local authorities of the modalities of import and/or uses of the products and services you wish to order. Also, the company Curiosity Lab SARL shouldn't be held liable for damages following an improper use of its product. Last, the liability of the company Curiosity Lab SARL shouldn't be incurred for all shortcomings or damages related to the use of the Internet network, especially service breakdown, outside intrusion or the presence of a computer virus.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All the components of the e-shop www.curiosity-lab.com are and remain the exclusive intellectuel property of the Company Curiosity Lab SARL. Nobody is allowed to reproduce, exploit, rebroadcast or use for any reason whatsoever, even partially, elements of the website whether software, visual or audio. Any simple or hypertext link is strictly forbidden without express written agreement from the company Curiosity Lab SARL.
PERSONAL DATA AND COOKIES
The society Curiosity Lab SARL réserves the right to collect normative information and personal data about you. They are necessary to manage your order, as well as to improve the services and information we give you. The RGPD law is enforced and the data not stored without consent. They may be transferred to companies contributing to those relation such as those in charge of carrying out the services and orders for their management, execution, processing and payment. These informations and data are also stored for security purposes, in order to meet legal and regulatory requirements. According to the law of 6 janvier 1978, you are entitled to consult, correct or erase the nominative information and personal date about you, directly on our website.
ARCHIVING PROOF
The company Curiosity Lab SARL will archive the sales orders and the invoices on a reliable medium so as to constitute a mean of evidence as per provisions of Section 1648 of the French Civil Code.
APPLICABLE LAW IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE
The language of the original contract is French. The présent terms and conditions are subject to French law. in case of dispute, the French court will have sole jurisdiction.
MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The company Curiosity Las SARL réserves the right to amend at any time these general terms and conditions of sale. In the hypothesis one some of the terms of the general conditions of sale would be considered illegal or non-invocable through a court ruling, the other provisions remain in full force and effect.
